Benzyl 3-hydroxypropionate
CAS:Benzyl 3-hydroxypropionate is a high-yield, asymmetric hydrogenation catalyst that selectively converts the oxopropanoic ester to hydroxyl propionate. It was synthesized in an organic solvent using ruthenium as the catalyst. Benzyl 3-hydroxypropionate can be used for the selective synthesis of chiral hydroxypropionates from alkenes and acid esters. The use of this catalyst has been shown to reduce virus production by inhibiting the activity of reverse transcriptases and proteases.Formula:C10H12O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:180.2 g/molRef: 3D-FB18279
