3,5-Difluoro-1,2-Benzenediol
CAS:3,5-Difluoro-1,2-Benzenediol is a metabolite of 3,5-difluorophenol (3,5-DFP) that is generated by alcohol and aldehyde dehydrogenases. It is also a metabolite of the environmental pollutant 1,2-dichloropropane. 3,5-Difluoro-1,2-benzenediol is an inhibitor of glutathione reductase and can inhibit the interaction between glutathione and its substrate. This interaction is important for the detoxification of xenobiotics and may be related to the toxicity of 3,5-DFP. The metabolism of 3,5-DFP leads to the production of 3,5-Difluoro-1,2 benzenediol as well as other metabolites such as 2-(hydroxymethyl)pyridine and 2HMP. These metabolites are derived from hydroxylFormula:C6H4F2O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:146.09 g/molRef: 3D-FD78952
