CAS:Dinitolmide (Zoalene), a poultry feed additive, is a coccidiostat for poultry.Formula:C8H7N3O5Purity:97.27%Color and Shape:Crystals From Dilute AlcoholMolecular weight:225.16Zoalene
CAS:Zoalene is an experimental drug that has been shown to have therapeutic effects on autoimmune diseases. Zoalene is a prodrug of salinomycin sodium, which is a natural product isolated from the plant Quillaja saponaria. The conversion of zoalene to salinomycin sodium is catalyzed by the enzyme quillaja saponaria-sulphite reductase. Salinomycin sodium inhibits protein synthesis in bacteria, leading to cell death by inhibiting the production of proteins vital for cell division. The conversion of zoalene to salinomycin sodium can be analyzed using an electrochemical detector or by a microbiological assay. Zoalene has also been shown to have potential as an anti-infective agent, and may be useful in combating drug-resistant strains of bacteria such as methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) and Mycobacterium tuberculosis.Formula:C8H7N3O5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:225.16 g/molRef: 3D-FZ28769
