CAS:L-2,4-Diaminobutyric acid hydrochloride is a competitive inhibitor of the enzyme carbamoyltransferase, which plays a role in the urea cycle. It is used to induce hyperirritability in animals and as an experimental model for Huntington's disease. L-2,4-Diaminobutyric acid hydrochloride has been shown to damage primary sensory neurons by inhibiting the synthesis of lysine and other neurotransmitters. This agent also induces neurotoxicity in rats preincubated with L-lysine, a precursor of acetylcholine.Formula:C4H10N2O2·HClPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:154.6 g/molRef: 3D-FD49826
