Ac-Val-OMe
CAS:Ac-Val-OMe is a trimethyl l-amino acid that is found in nature. It has been shown to be an inhibitor of serine protease, including cathepsin K and thrombin, as well as other enzymes. Ac-Val-OMe has been shown to have a catalytic rate of 1.5 x 10^6 M/s at pH 7 and a residue specific activity of 2.8 x 10^4 U/mg at pH 6. Ac-Val-OMe also inhibits the activity of n-acetyl-l-tyrosine amidohydrolase which is involved in the biosynthesis of tyrosine, histidine and tryptophan. The stereospecificity of this compound was determined using L-(+)-serine and D-(−)-serine as substrates with the enzyme chymotrypsin. The product ratio was 3:1 when Ac-Val-OMe was usedFormula:C8H15NO3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:173.21 g/molRef: 3D-FA111817
