CAS:2,3-Dichlorophenylboronic acid is a boron-containing compound. It is a substrate for the enzyme phosphatase and has been shown to inhibit the activity of the SHP2 protein kinase in vitro. This inhibition can lead to programmed cell death via apoptosis and necrosis. 2,3-Dichlorophenylboronic acid has also been shown to inhibit the growth of erythromycin resistant bacteria. The two isomers are not equally active.
