CAS:1-Methoxy-4-(methoxymethyl)benzene is a chrysomelidae insecticide that is used in the control of coleoptera. It has been shown to be active against the larvae of Chrysomela populi, C. maculata, and C. nitidula, by inhibiting their ability to synthesize phenylpropanoids. 1-Methoxy-4-(methoxymethyl)benzene can be synthesized from 4-methoxybenzaldehyde or estragole by nucleophilic substitution. The concentration of substrate affects the stereoselectivity of this reaction.Purity:Min. 95%
