CAS 1517-22-2: Phenanthrene-d10

Phenanthrene-d10 is an isotope of phenanthrene, which is a hydrocarbon with the chemical formula C14H10. It is a colorless solid that has a high resistance to oxidation and has been used as a solvent in analytical chemistry. Phenanthrene-d10 can be used as an internal standard for gas chromatography and mass spectroscopy. The dry weight of phenanthrene-d10 is 129.066 g/mol, with a chloride content of 0.017%. It can be mixed with other solutes such as methyl cinnamate or biphenyl to form biphenyl d5 and methyl cinnamate d8, respectively, which have similar properties to phenanthrene-d10.
