CAS:Tris-ruthenium chloride is a chemical compound that reacts with hydroxyl groups in the presence of base to generate an alcohol. It has been shown to cause liver lesions in rats and increased serum levels of pancreatic enzymes in mice. Tris-ruthenium chloride is also used as a catalyst for transfer reactions with alkenes, ketones, nitro compounds, and epoxides. Tris-ruthenium chloride catalyzes the reaction by abstracting the hydrogen from the substrate and breaking it into two parts: one part is transferred to the ruthenium atom and another part is transferred to the oxygen atom of the water molecule. The use of tris-ruthenium chloride as a catalyst for transfer reactions can be confirmed by x-ray diffraction data. The nitrogen atoms are coordinated to three phosphorus atoms that form a trigonal planar structure. Tris-ruthenium chloride also has anti-inflammatory properties due to its abilityFormula:C54H45Cl2P3RuPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:958.83 g/molRef: 3D-FT54978
