Compound C108 is an inhibitor of GTPase-activating protein SH3 domain-binding protein 2 (G3BP2).

2-Hydroxy-benzoic acid (2HB) is a functional compound that inhibits the growth of cancer cells. It has been shown to inhibit the activation of gtpase-activating protein, which prevents tumorigenesis. 2HB is also able to stabilize granules and prevent the release of inflammatory mediators in esophageal epithelial cells. 2HB has been shown to be an antigen that stabilizes chromene and amide groups, making it more stable than other compounds.
