CAS:4-Methoxy-2-nitrophenol is a chemical compound that has been shown to have a potential use in the functional theory of organic compounds. It can be prepared by hydrolysis of nitrobenzene with sodium hydroxide, which leads to the formation of 3-methoxy-4-nitrobenzoic acid. 4-Methoxy-2-nitrophenol can also be synthesized from an intramolecular hydrogen transfer reaction using sodium nitrite and potassium cyanide as reagents. 4MMP has been shown to bind to monoclonal antibodies, and it has been used for the detection of epitopes on proteins or peptides. The crystal structure of 4MPN was determined using X-ray diffraction analysis and was found to show three isomers. Heterostructures are also known for this compound.Formula:C7H7NO4Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:169.13 g/mol4-Methoxy-2-nitrophenol
