CAS:Mosapride citrate dihydrate is a pharmaceutical drug that belongs to the group of drugs called proton pump inhibitors. It is used for the treatment of hyperproliferative diseases, such as gastric ulcer and esophageal reflux disease. Mosapride citrate dihydrate reduces the production of stomach acid by inhibiting the enzyme H+/K+-ATPase. This leads to a decrease in the amount of acid secreted into the stomach, which improves digestion and relieves symptoms such as heartburn and nausea.
