CAS:Benzobicyclon is a granule formulation of benzobicyclon that is used as an herbicide. It is applied to the leaves of plants and enters the plant through the stomata on the leaves. Benzobicyclon inhibits phosphodiesterase activity in plants, which prevents the breakdown of cyclic GMP and cGMP, leading to cell death in sensitive plants. This herbicide also has synergistic effects with other compounds, such as chlorine atoms. The synergistic effect can be seen when benzobicyclon is combined with a water-soluble chlorine atom. The water-soluble chlorine atom forms salts with metals in the soil, which are then available for uptake by plants. This leads to increased herbicidal activity and a lower application rate of benzobicyclon.Formula:C22H19ClO4S2Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:446.97 g/molBenzobicyclon
CAS:Benzobicyclon is a pro-herbicide and it acts as an inhibitor of 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase (4-HPPD) in plant, and leads to bleaching and death[1].Formula:C22H19ClO4S2Purity:99.88%Color and Shape:SolidMolecular weight:446.97Ref: TM-T14531
