Acetyl-L-norleucine
CAS:Acetyl-L-norleucine is a synthetic amino acid that has been shown to inhibit the growth of cancer cells in vitro. It forms an amphipathic molecule that has hydrophobic and hydrophilic regions, which may allow it to attach to the cell membrane of a tumor cell. Acetyl-L-norleucine binds to both the active site and the allosteric site on acylase, inhibiting its activity. This inhibition prevents the breakdown of formylglycinamide into formate and glycinamide, which are required for fatty acid synthesis.Formula:C8H15NO3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:173.21 g/molRef: 3D-FA49081
