2-Phenyl-1-ethynylboronic acid pinacol ester is an organic compound. This compound can be synthesized from 2-phenylboronic acid and pinacol, which is a diol derived from benzene. The synthesis of this compound can be done by substituting the boron atom with lithium to form lithiated 2-phenyl-1-ethynylboronic acid pinacol ester.
