1,3-dichloro-2,4-difluoro-5-nitrobenzene
CAS:1,3-Dichloro-2,4-difluoro-5-nitrobenzene is a synthetic compound that can be used as a pesticide. It is synthesized by the dehalogenation of 1,3,5-trichloronitrobenzene with chlorine in the presence of a catalyst such as copper chloride. This reaction takes place at room temperature and produces 1,3-dichloro-2,4-difluoro-5 nitrobenzene in high yield. The synthesis of this compound is selective for chlorine because it does not react with other halogens such as fluorine or bromine. The product is also selective for chlorinating agents and reacts rapidly with fluoride to form 1,3-dichloro-2,4,6-trifluorobenzene.Formula:C6HCl2F2NO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:227.98 g/molRef: 3D-FD105695
