CAS:Fmoc-N'-acetyl-L-lysine is a synthetic amino acid that is used in the synthesis of peptides and proteins. Fmoc-N'-acetyl-L-lysine inhibits the growth of prostate cancer cells by binding to the fatty acid on the cell surface, preventing it from interacting with an effector protein. Fmoc-N'-acetyl-L-lysine has cytostatic effects on prostate cancer cells, which may be due to its ability to inhibit uptake of essential nutrients such as glucose and glutamine. Fmoc-N'-acetyl-L-lysine also inhibits the production of human serum albumin and other structural proteins.
