3-(3,4-Difluorophenyl)-4-(4-Methylsulfonylphenyl)-5H-Furan-2-One
CAS:3-(3,4-Difluorophenyl)-4-(4-Methylsulfonylphenyl)-5H-Furan-2-One (3DMPS) is a synthetic compound that has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. 3DMPS binds to the nuclear transcription factor NF-κB, which regulates the expression of genes that are involved in inflammation. The protein synthesis of 3DMPS is due to its ability to inhibit protein kinase C (PKC). This inhibition results in decreased levels of prostaglandin E2 (PGE2), which is necessary for cancer cell growth and invasion. 3DMPS has also been shown to be effective in chronic arthritis and atherosclerotic lesions. It has been shown to inhibit the polymerase chain reaction and protein synthesis in cancer cells lines and deficient mice with experimental models. In addition, 3DMPS has not been found to be toxic or carcinogenic when administered orally or intravenously at dosesFormula:C17H12F2O4SPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:350.34 g/mol2(5H)-Furanone, 3-(3,4-difluorophenyl)-4-[4-(methylsulfonyl)phenyl]-
