CAS:N-Ethylsulfamoyl chloride is a sulfonamide that is used to treat inflammatory diseases, such as the skin condition psoriasis and arthritis. It can be used in combination with other drugs, such as aspirin or ibuprofen. N-Ethylsulfamoyl chloride also has been shown to be effective against some acarids (e.g., ticks) and heart disease. N-Ethylsulfamoyl chloride inhibits the formation of carboxyproteins in the liver, which may lead to hepatic steatosis.
