Bauerenol acetate
CAS:Controlled ProductBauerenol acetate is a β-amyrin extract that has been found to be an effective anticancer agent. It inhibits the proliferation of cancer cells and induces apoptosis in these cells. Bauerenol acetate also shows anti-inflammatory effects, which may be due to its ability to block the production of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and prostaglandin E2 (PGE2). Bauerenol acetate is extracted from the genus Amyris balsamifera, which is native to northeastern Brazil. This compound can be synthesized from α-amyrin acetate, which is obtained by hydrolysis of β-amyrin with aqueous sodium hydroxide.Formula:C32H52O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:468.8 g/molBauerenol acetate
