Diphenyl(trimethylsilyl)phosphine
CAS:Diphenyl(trimethylsilyl)phosphine is an organosilicon compound that is used in organic synthesis as a reagent for the asymmetric synthesis of chiral phosphines, which are used to catalyze various reactions. It can be used in cross-coupling reactions with halides and boron trifluoride etherate. The reaction products are alkyl chlorides, alcohols, or aldehydes. This compound is also useful in the activation of chloride compounds by converting them into chloroalkenes. Diphenyl(trimethylsilyl)phosphine has been shown to be an efficient catalyst for the stereoselective chloride-mediated alkylation of primary and secondary alcohols with activated alkyl halides.Formula:C15H19PSiPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:258.37 g/mol
