CAS:3,5-Dimethylbenzeneboronic acid is an important raw material and intermediate used in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals and dyestuff. This Thermo Scientific Chemicals brand product was originally part of the Alfa Aesar product portfolio. Some documentation and label information may refer to the legacy brand. The original Alfa Aesar product / item code or SKU reference has not changed as a part of the brand transition to Thermo Scientific Chemicals.Formula:C8H11BO2Purity:98%Color and Shape:White, PowderMolecular weight:149.983,5-Dimethylphenylboronic acid
CAS:3,5-Dimethylphenylboronic acid is a diluent that is used in organic synthesis. It is also a low-energy reagent for cross-coupling reactions, such as Suzuki coupling reactions. The reaction occurs by the addition of organoboron compounds, such as 4-tert-butylphenylboronic acid, to 3,5-dimethylphenylboronic acid in the presence of palladium complexes and hydrochloric acid. The product can be isolated by the addition of an acid solution. This compound has been shown to have antiinflammatory properties and can be administered orally or topically. 3,5-Dimethylphenylboronic acid has been shown to inhibit the cb2 receptor and reduce inflammation in animal models.Formula:C8H11BO2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:149.98 g/mol
