1,2,3,6,7,8-Hexahydropyrene
CAS:Hexahydropyrene is an organic compound that belongs to the class of aromatic hydrocarbons. It is a colorless liquid with a strong and unpleasant odor. Hexahydropyrene has been shown to have conformational properties in its chemical structure that are similar to those of malonic acid, and it can be hydrogenated to form 1,2,3,6,7,8-hexahydro-1-hydroxybenzene. Hexahydropyrene is also able to act as a solvent for organic compounds due to its ability to dissolve both polar and nonpolar molecules. Hexahydropyrene has been used in various techniques such as sulfonation, naphthalene synthesis and water molecule formation. The thermodynamics of hexahydropyrene have not been studied extensively but it has been found that hexahydropyrene reacts with sodium sulfide at room temperature to produce sodium hydrosulfide and hydrogen sulfide gas.Formula:C16H16Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:208.3 g/molRef: 3D-FH75478
