  • Phe-Tyr-OH

    CAS:
Phe-Tyr-OH is a protonated molecular compound that has an amino acid composition of phenylalanine and tyrosine. Phe-Tyr-OH is soluble in water and has a molecular weight of 285.3 g/mol, with a silico analysis for the molecule as well as caco-2 cell experiments. Phe-Tyr-OH inhibits cancer cells by binding to the receptor site on the surface of these cells in a competitive manner. This binding prevents the formation of an enzyme complex necessary for cancer cell proliferation, leading to cancer cell death. Phe-Tyr-OH also inhibits the activity of certain blood pressure regulating enzymes, leading to lower levels of plasma concentrations.
