CAS:6-Nitro-1-pyrenol-d8 is a stable isotope of nitrophenol that is used as a probe for the cytochrome P450 system. It has been shown to be absorbed by mammalian cells and ovary cells, and is metabolized in these cells. The rate of metabolism can be measured using UV absorption at 275 nm. 6-Nitro-1-pyrenol-d8 is also broken down in rat liver microsomes, and its metabolic pathway can be studied using this experimental model. 6-Nitro-1-pyrenol-d8 has been shown to inhibit the growth of typhimurium (a type of bacteria) in vitro, but does not affect the growth rate of other bacteria such as Escherichia coli or Pseudomonas aeruginosa.Formula:C16H9NO3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:263.25 g/mol
