CAS:4-Octylphenol is an endocrine disruptor with gender-specific effects on male germ cells, significantly reducing the mitotic index and the number of spermatogonia. It also causes inflammatory damage in the gills of carp by activating the complement system through the C3a/C3a receptor (C3a/C3aR) axis and C5a/C5a receptor 1 (C5a/C5aR1) axis. Furthermore, 4-Octylphenol induces immune suppression by disrupting the balance between helper T (Th) cells 1/Th2 and regulatory T (Treg)/Th17 cells, and triggers inflammatory damage through the Toll-like receptor 7 (Toll-like Receptor (TLR))/inhibitor κBα/nuclear factor κB (TLR7/IκBα/NF-κB) pathway.Formula:C14H22OColor and Shape:SolidMolecular weight:206.324-n-Octylphenol, 99%

CAS:4-Octophenol is a phenolic compound that is used as an analytical reagent for the detection of small amounts of organic compounds. It is widely used in the treatment of wastewater, and has been shown to be effective in the removal of organic compounds from urine and human serum samples. 4-Octophenol can also be used for the detection of infectious diseases by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy. This method has a high degree of sensitivity and can detect a wide range of chemical structures, which makes it useful for detecting chemicals that are difficult to measure using other methods. 4-Octophenol is prepared by reacting hydrochloric acid with diphenyl ether, which produces 4-chlorophenol and 4-phenyloxyphenol. The latter compound can then be oxidized with lead(IV) acetate to produce 4-octophenol. The chemical structure of 4-octophenol consists of a phenolic group (-OH), an aromatic ring (benzFormula:C14H22OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:206.32 g/molRef: 3D-FO03065
