CAS:Ethyl Arachidonate is a synthetic cannabinoid that has been shown to have strong binding affinity for the CB2 receptor and moderate binding affinity for the CB1 receptor. This compound also inhibits protein synthesis in human liver cells. It is irreversible, which means that it does not break down or react with other molecules, but instead remains intact and unchanged until it is removed from the body. Ethyl Arachidonate has been found to cause an increase in malondialdehyde (MDA), a product of lipid peroxidation, in human liver cells. MDA levels are usually increased during periods of oxidative stress, such as high-sensitivity C-reactive protein (hsCRP). The compound also increases fatty acid levels in adipose tissue, suggesting that it may be used as an anti-inflammatory agent.Formula:C22H36O2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:332.52 g/molEthyl Arachidonate
CAS:Controlled ProductApplications Arachidonic acid (AA) is an unsaturated omega-6 fatty acid constituent of the phospholipids of cell membranes. Phospholipase A2 releases AA from the membrane phospholipids in response to inflammation. References Peterson, J., et al.: J. Pediatr., 152, 788 (2008), Pichini, S., et al.: J. Pharm. Biomed.
