2-Propylaniline
CAS:2-Propylaniline is a chemical compound that is used as a pharmaceutical intermediate. It has been shown to inhibit the population growth of bacteria, such as Escherichia coli and Bacillus subtilis, in vitro. 2-Propylaniline can be used to make other organic compounds, such as molybdenum and biphenyl. The reaction between 2-propylaniline and hydrogen in an acidic solution produces hydrogenated 2-propylaniline and water. This reaction also generates a number of reaction intermediates that can form biphenyl or molybdenum. 2-Propylaniline has been shown to have an inhibitory effect against clinical isolates of Enterobacteriaceae such as Klebsiella pneumoniae and Staphylococcus aureus. The inhibition is due to disruption of the cell wall synthesis by blocking the enzyme cell wall synthesis.Purity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FP12481
