CAS:4,4'-Dibromostilbene is a phthaloyl derivative of trans-stilbene. It has optical properties that are similar to those of the parent compound. 4,4'-Dibromostilbene is an acceptor for electron transfer with a redox potential of 1.8 V and can be used as a peroxide decomposition catalyst. The compound has been shown to be resistant to chlorides, peroxides and organocatalysts at temperatures up to 200°C. In addition, 4,4'-dibromostilbene has been found to have high efficiency in light emission at room temperature with quantum yields ranging from 0.1% - 2%.Formula:C14H10Br2Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:338.04 g/mol
