CAS:2,5-Dibromoterephthalonitrile is a synthetic monomer with a fluorophoric group. It is used in polymer and photovoltaic device fabrication and has been shown to have good photostability. The fluorescence of this compound is stable up to temperatures of ca. 130°C. 2,5-Dibromoterephthalonitrile has an emission maximum at around 400 nm that can be quenched by methyl groups.
