PPADS tetrasodium
CAS:PPADS is a pyridoxal phosphate-dependent adenosine diphosphate (ADP) ribose hydrolase inhibitor that blocks the formation of the second messenger, cyclic ADP-ribose. It has been shown to inhibit neuronal death in vitro and in vivo models, as well as reducing chronic cough. The synergistic effect of PPADS with other pharmacological agents has also been studied. PPADS inhibits cyclase activity by blocking the binding site on the enzyme for ATP, thereby preventing cAMP production. In addition, PPADS prevents intracellular calcium increase by antagonizing purinergic P2Y receptors.Formula:C14H10N3Na4O12PS2Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:599.3 g/molPPADS Tetrasodium
