CAS:1H-Benzimidazol-1-ylmethanol is a benzimidazole derivative that has antiviral properties. It inhibits the replication of viruses by blocking their translation and protease activity. The antiviral effect of 1H-benzimidazol-1-ylmethanol is nonclassical and has been shown to be effective against viruses with high mutation rates. This drug also has potentiodynamic polarization, which can be used to detect the presence of viral proteins in cells. 1H-Benzimidazol-1-ylmethanol has been shown to inhibit the growth of several different types of viruses, including HIV, influenza A, and herpes simplex virus type 2. This drug also shows an anomalous effect on viral replication in gel permeation chromatography experiments.Formula:C8H8N2OPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:148.16 g/molRef: 3D-FB122477
