25R-Inokosterone is an anti-inflammatory agent that belongs to the group of steroidal compounds. It has been shown to have a potent effect in vitro on inflammatory diseases and deficiency type, as well as toxicity studies in vivo. 25R-Inokosterone binds to the hydroxyl group at C5 and C6, which is present in many inflammatory disease receptors. The affinity for these receptors may be due to its similarity with other steroids such as cortisone.
