3-Fluorophenylamine hydrochloride
CAS:3-Fluorophenylamine hydrochloride (3FPHA) is an optical reagent that is soluble in water. It can be used for the detection of bacteria and other microorganisms. 3FPHA has been shown to have antibacterial activity against a number of bacterial strains, including Escherichia coli, Staphylococcus epidermidis, Bacillus subtilis and Pseudomonas aeruginosa. The mechanism of action is not well understood but may involve oxidative reactions with DNA or RNA. 3FPHA binds to the cell wall of bacteria, inhibiting their growth. This compound also has fluorescence properties when it reacts with oxidants such as hydrogen peroxide or sodium hypochlorite. 3FPHA has refractive index values between 1.5 and 2.5 and an alkaline pH range between 8 and 12, making it suitable for use in a variety of applications in the laboratory.END>Formula:C6H7ClFNPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:147.58 g/mol3-Fluorophenylamine Hydrochloride
