This compound was tested in a two-way crossover study with diode laser ablation and chromatographic sample preparation. The intraperitoneal administration of pentafluorophenyldimethylchlorosilane to mice resulted in an increase of the 2,4-dichlorobenzoic acid concentration in urine samples. Pentafluorophenyldimethylchlorosilane is chemically stable and does not react with amines or hydrochloric acid.
