    CAS:
    (S,R,S)-AHPC-PEG2-NH2 is a peptide that activates the receptor, which has been shown to be a selective inhibitor of ion channels. It is an activator of the G protein-coupled receptor and has been shown to inhibit L-type calcium channels in rat pancreatic islet cells. (S,R,S)-AHPC-PEG2-NH2 is a potent inhibitor of NaV1.6 channels and has been shown to increase the amplitude of action potentials in rat dorsal root ganglion neurons. This peptide also inhibits N-type calcium channels in rat cortical neurons and increases the frequency of action potentials in these cells. The pharmacology of this peptide is still being investigated.
