Nimetazepam
CAS:Controlled ProductNimetazepam is a benzodiazepine that is used as a sedative and hypnotic. Nimetazepam is chemically classified as a high-potency benzodiazepine. It has been shown to have an intermediate duration of action, with peak plasma levels occurring 2 hours after administration. Nimetazepam has pharmacokinetic properties that are similar to those of diazepam, which include rapid absorption from the gastrointestinal tract and high lipid solubility. The drug is excreted in the urine primarily as metabolites, with about 25% being excreted unchanged in the urine. This drug also has a number of side effects such as symptoms of chronic oral administration (e.g., weight loss) and trifluoroacetic acid-induced liver injury in rats. Nimetazepam undergoes intermolecular hydrogen bonding between its nitrogen atom and the alpha carbon atoms on adjacent molecules, which is one of the reasons for its structural analysis byFormula:C16H13N3O3Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:295.29 g/molNimetazepam (1mg/ml in Methanol)
