CAS:Ferrous glycinate is a chelate that is used to treat bowel disease. It has low potency and can be administered orally or intravenously. Ferrous glycinate consists of ferrous iron bound to the amino acid glycine, which is hydrolyzed in vivo to release iron. Ferrous glycinate was found to have a high degree of chemical stability when exposed to copper chloride, sodium citrate, and other substances commonly found in biological fluids. Ferrous glycinate has been used as a control for studies on the effect of metal hydroxides on enzyme activities and toxicity studies using model systems.Formula:C4H8FeN2O4Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:Brown PowderMolecular weight:203.96 g/molFerrous Bisglycinate
