CAS:Tetradecylamine is a disulfide bond that forms in the presence of inorganic acid and amines. It has antimicrobial properties and can be used to treat microbial infections. Tetradecylamine has been shown to inhibit the growth of Gram-positive bacteria, including Staphylococcus aureus, by disrupting the cell membrane. Tetradecylamine also reduces the production of proinflammatory molecules that are generated during microbial infection. This agent can be used as an alternative to antibiotics for the treatment of bacterial infections in humans. Tetradecylamine is applied topically to reduce inflammation and promote healing in skin wounds, abrasions, burns, or ulcers caused by microbial infection.Formula:C14H31NPurity:Min. 98%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:213.4 g/mol
