CAS:Sodium tetrakis(4-fluorophenyl)borate dihydrate (NaBPh 4 ) is an inorganic acid that has a dibutyl group attached to the boron atom. NaBPh 4 is used as a catalyst for some organic reactions, such as the polymerization of polyvinyl chloride. It is also used in transistors and polynuclear metal complexes. Sodium tetrakis(4-fluorophenyl)borate dihydrate can be activated by metal ions, such as copper and iron, which are used to increase its reactivity. The chloride ion can activate NaBPh 4 by protonating it, generating a reactive carbonyl group that reacts with carboxylic acids. NaBPh 4 is also used in diagnostic tests and has surfactant properties.Formula:C24H16BF4NaPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:414.18 g/molRef: 3D-FS86461
