The crosslink density can be controlled by varying the ratio of 2-ethyl-2-methacryloyloxyadamantane to triflic acid during copolymerization. This monomer has been shown to have good compatibility with hydroxystyrene, allowing for copolymerization to form homo or co block polymers.
