CAS:6-Bromoacetyl-2-dimethylaminonaphthalene is a cytotoxic drug that induces apoptosis by binding to the ryanodine receptor. This compound has been shown to have a high affinity for the human liver, and can induce apoptosis in human serum, magnesium salt, and soybean lipoxygenase. 6-Bromoacetyl-2-dimethylaminonaphthalene is also able to increase cytosolic calcium levels in human cells. The analytical method for 6-Bromoacetyl-2-dimethylaminonaphthalene is based on the use of annexin V, which binds to phosphatidylserine residues exposed during apoptosis. It is used as a diagnostic agent for cancerous lesions, and as a biomimetic in biochemical studies.Formula:C14H14BrNOPurity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:292.17 g/molRef: 3D-FB19193
