BETd-246 is a molecule that inhibits the BET family of bromodomains by binding to them, thereby inhibiting the transcriptional activity of these proteins. BETd-246 has been shown to be effective against prostate cancer and other types of cancers. It was also found to be synergized with a number of different drugs and has been shown to have therapeutic potential for many types of cancers. The drug is currently undergoing clinical trials for its use in treatment of cancer.
