CAS:2'-Bromoacetophenone is a chemical compound that is used in the synthesis of unsaturated ketones. It reacts with terminal alkynes to form 2-bromo-2-methylpropene, which can subsequently be converted into unsaturated ketones such as methyl vinyl ketone. The reaction time for this process is less than five minutes and no catalyst is required.
