Noladin ether
CAS:Noladin ether is a glycol ether that has been shown to have physiological effects in vivo. It is used as a solvent for paints and varnishes, as a plasticizer, and as an additive to fuels. Noladin ether has been found to inhibit the growth of prostate cancer cells. It also inhibits locomotor activity in mice by acting on the CB2 receptor, which is activated by endogenous substances such as 2-arachidonoylglycerol (2-AG).
