1,2:8,9-Dibenzopentacene
CAS:1,2:8,9-Dibenzopentacene belongs to the family of dibenzopentacenes. It is a planar molecule with a pentagonal bipyramid shape. In simulations, hybridization and molecular orbitals are rationalized by an octahedral geometry. The monolayer of 1,2:8,9-dibenzopentacene is a semiconductor with an electron affinity of 2.6 eV. When the material is evaporated from a solution or deposited on a substrate, it undergoes morphological changes that can be observed by microscopy and functional theory. The photocurrent generated in the material has been found to be sensitive to the morphology of the sample surface. A stepwise photoelectron emission process has been proposed as an explanation for this phenomenon.Purity:Min. 95%Ref: 3D-FD62416
