4-Methoxybenzil
CAS:4-Methoxybenzil is an activated diketone with a processable temperature range. It is a precursor to imidazoles and can be used for the manufacture of 4-methoxybenzaldehyde by reacting with sodium carbonate, in which an aldehyde group is added. The 4-methoxybenzaldehyde can then be reacted with oxone to form 4-methoxybenzil. This compound may also be used as a stabilizer or inhibitor in polyolefin production.Formula:C15H12O3Purity:Min. 95%Color and Shape:PowderMolecular weight:240.25 g/mol
