5-Chloro-2-mercaptobenzoxazole

It has been shown to reduce inflammatory pain and increase gastrointestinal motility. 5-Chloro-2-mercaptobenzoxazole interacts with a number of other molecules, such as proteins, DNA, RNA and lipids. This drug has been shown to have cytotoxic effects against human cancer cells in vitro.
