CAS:Di(ethylene glycol) dimethacrylate is a polymer that is used in the preparation of hydrophobic surfaces, such as in modeling systems. It has been shown to be stable to radiation and analytical methods, which makes it an excellent model system for studying the water permeability of polymers with different chemical structures. Di(ethylene glycol) dimethacrylate can also be used for wastewater treatment, due to its ability to remove glycols and water vapor from wastewater. The hydroxyl group on the polymer chain reacts with glycols, forming esters that are more soluble in water than glycols. This reaction also produces water vapor that is easily removed by condensation or adsorption on particles.Formula:C12H18O5Purity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:242.27 g/molRef: 3D-FD34489
