CAS:Formula:C10H24N2O4SiColor and Shape:LiquidMolecular weight:264.39411-[3-(Triethoxysilyl)propyl]urea (40-52% in Methanol)
CAS:1-[3-(Triethoxysilyl)propyl]urea (40-52% in Methanol) is a cationic surfactant that has been used as a cross-linking agent for film-forming polymers. Adsorption of the 1-[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]urea molecule to the surface of the material being treated provides an increased surface free energy. This increased surface free energy is due to the adsorbed molecules forming bridges between adjacent surfaces. The molecular weight of 1-[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]urea is about 578, which is too large to penetrate into porous materials and form strong bonds, but it can form strong bonds on flat surfaces. The adsorption mechanism of 1-[3-(triethoxysilyl)propyl]urea is shown in Figure 3 below. 1-[3-(Triethoxysilyl)propyl]Formula:C10H24N2O4SiPurity:Min. 95%Molecular weight:264.39 g/molRef: 3D-FT61355
